Placed in my arms
Tears cloud my eyes
In the warmth of your skin
I feel my heart start
to beat once again
Little fingers clasped in mine
Hands once governed by a blade
softened and at peace
in your grasp
Love seeps into every
cevice of my soul
destroying the darkness
that's been in control so long
My spirit trembles
not used to this feeling
vulnerable in the love for you
You stare at me
Sweet eyes of innocence
healing in me the broken
An undeserved angel
the missing piece to a
shattered heart I
spent so long trying to find
In you I uncover
the song of the notes I
left scattered in the ground
Standing on the edge
exhilaration pounding my pores
I can jump now and not fall
For you gave me wings again
*In your touch I found freedom*

The most important person to me is my 7 weel old son Riley. I never really knew the power of love until I had him.
