Staring down the empty road
The over pass up so high
Teetering on the edge
The ground so far down.
On the edge of your seat
Head between your legs
Who is holding back your hair?
Your night is only beginning.
Leaning on the rail
The dark still water
Threatening to consume
All who enter its domain.
World spins then goes black
On the floor flat on your back
Did you even know you where naked?
He'll swear you wanted it.
Taking the plunge
Nothing to lose
Smashing the surface
Everything a blur.
Choking and pleading
Half understanding
Where is your savior?
Your life is catching up.
Swallowing water
Sinking like lead
Shit this hurts
Surrendering.
Pinned and immobile
Body aching head pounding
What happened last night?
You had it coming.
A watery grave,
Just darkness.
The light shines
Your still alive
Will you tell?
Your life's just a lie.
