Its new-born-babe-feces-yellow,
Upon my only patience:
Dijon.
Author notes
The word I hate the most: dijon.
BECAUSE.
Either way I pronounce it, I feel like an idiot.
If I say, "DEE-zhaun," I sound like someone who doesn't know that that's not exactly how it's pronounced.
However, if I say, "Dih-ZHAUN," how it should be pronounced, I sound like one of those people who tries to pronounce every foreign word correctly, but is only actually correct every once and a while, and just kind of got lucky with "Dijon."
This caused me ceaseless frustration when I worked at Jimmy John's.

dijon, not sure the word bugs me but the color you described and the way you did it sure does
be well and be blessed

there's nothing quite like sitting here, imagining baby faeces yellow! i like your lighthearted take. luckily 'dijon' is not an everyday word, like "the". Teh-hee? Th-ee? Teh-huh-ee? Ok that's enough from me...
sorry it took so long to comment

the title to the poem is very creative - coming in on the poem, I had no clue what it was going to be about. you carry the reader because of the curiosity of the title. good work.
