Amidst amber skies,
smiles emerge
hiding behind clouds
to kiss away the sadness
on whispered wing
watching golden promise
in sun rising from ashes
when dreams
refuse to wither away
as pieces of September
fall in colored caress
drying lash with luster.
From his mountain
to her vibrant valley,
hearts meet
as Angels often do
finding a reason to flutter.
