As free as the breeze

As Free as the Breeze

I like to wear no bra or daks at home
it feels real cool to let the breeze run free
beneath my dress as round the house I roam.
Because I live alone, I can, you see.

“Never go out without your undies, dear”
my Mum would always preach each day to me -
and did I listen? NO!! I made it clear
she didn't know the need for feeling free.

Until one day I tripped and went for six;
I landed on my belly, dress up high.
The guy’s all whistled for I wore no knicks
and what they leered at nearly made me cry.

So now I heed my Mother’s words each day
and leave the house with undies on each time.
Then, once I’m home, I strip them off and stay
without them on, alone, and that’s no crime.

I took this pic on my webcam this week
to show my tattoo off for all to view.
I’m sure I'll get reactions that I seek -
especially from our boob expert, King Hugh.

Author notes

I never felt so embarrassed in all my life. It sure taught me a lesson not to go outside without knickers on.
I should've listened to my Mum because she told me afterwards it happened to her when she was young.

haha, glad I stumbled upon this this morning...brought a smile to my face...not at all what I expected, but definitely a fun read! lol The pic doesn't hurt either Life is filled with embarrassing moments, you've captured yours wonderfully in words, and it's good to read that you didn't forgo your freedom entirely, just compromised lol

I'm sorry for your embarrassment - I remember from earliest childhood, "but what if you have to go to the hospital?" At home we can relax (I hope!). The story moves along very well in neat rhyme. Good luck!

    Dear Jen,

Great tattoo, dear King Hugh may want a closer look at it though! Your poem is rich and I had a great laugh, especially when you went for a trip (sorry, couldn't help myself). Best of luck in the contest.

    Hugs and love,

You just know I want to read Hugh's comment here!

Is that really your photo? You don't have to say, you can be a "Woman of mystery."

I ran out of clean underwear once and decided to go without beneath my jeans, what a big mistake, I was never so chafe in all my life, lol. I know, that's way too much information, lol.

I just read Hugh's comment/poem (I couldn't wait) and had to smile (I usually smile by default anyway, lol) and concur with his expert opinion.

I should have followed your idea and posted a picture of me in a bra!

Enjoyed your poem and your pic' (and Hugh's poem about your boobs)! I've always felt better fully dressed in public....at home's a different story. For me, it's all about how I feel most comfortable and that's the way it works out best for me.

Best of Luck in the contest!

    Love,
    Maureen

    Dear Jenelda,

That picture really is a beaut
    though your tattoo's rather small
    but I don't think I'd give a hoot
if you didn't have one at all!

    Your boobs are beautifully formed,
    a glory to behold!
Make sure you keep them both well warmed
and don't let them catch cold.

I note they both look rather nice
    within a bra immured,
and offer you some sound advice,
    to get them both insured!!

Thanks for a lovely entry and pic. Best of luck in the voting.
Applause, love and hugs, XXX Hugh (R.)

    Dear Jen,
Oh my, I did that once, but luckily at the time I had my knicker's on (that was before Heath) it's very embarrassing. A great poem though drear Cousin.
Very good luck in the contest.

HaHa Jen, I know the feeling because over the years I've tripped on the footpaths in the main streets and believe me it's embarrassing, luckily I've had knicker's and panty hose on but I still wonder what the people behind me see.I'm very cautious now as my knees are shot through the falls I've had.
    A great poem dear Niece.
Thankyou for entering our huguenauties group contest and good luck in the voting.
