Ears of Eve

Missing image

Her fairy heart listens compassionately
to the pleading sounds of broken hearts
as they sob their deep, longing sorrows
into the black hollowness of night.

Following the cries with her merciful spirit
guided to each aching soul's pain,
sprinkling them with her invisible
soothing, spellbound sands
that hope would fill the cracks
in love's shattered vase
lying in pieces behind their watery eyes.

Kissing them with her healing powers
so a withered life will not die,
but awake to face sunrise with a small serene smile
and arms ready to reach out again for hugs.

Very creative expression of the sorrows of a broken heart. I like the interweaving of faerie power with the healing process of love. Blue
