heavenly hearth

Missing image

massaging mortal senses once carved from potters hands,

    release thine energy,

                       rapture my doubting thoughts ~

bathe this crippled virgin, cleanse me with your touch,

mend my broken spirit, as you dangle the stars from my future nest ~

generations of hope have gone before me,

rescue their souls from torment of darkened graves,

wipe my tears of confusion ~

forgive those who deny repentance, cage their wickedness,

moisten my lips, so that i may sing angelic melody unto your heavenly hearth,

.....you're the whisper in the wind,

comfort this dying world as we cry out,

                                                                                    .....father ~

An exquisite prayer sent up into the heavens heard in this fine piece. You had me from that first line. Molding moist clay of the senses captures sheer essence energy.A mend this current world so badly needs.

    This is simply amazing poetry....

I've been blessed with the opportunity to read so much beautiful poetry at AP, and I have to say that your poetry never ceases to amaze me. It's laced with bejeweled elegance that trickles down every line. It's as if every word bathes in a pool of liquid magic. It's truly inspiring to this poet, without a doubt.

I've only been writing poetry for about nine months, but the more I read, the more I learn, and I feel that my own poetry has come so very far from just 9 short months ago. I've found something in me that I had no idea was there, and for that, I am eternally thankful to all the poets who have influenced me to write from the heart. God has genuinely graced you with His love, Bear. Very well done!

Your spiritual awakening turns me to close my eyes and to ponder about this life. Somehow the following lines pop out of my mind:
    ~
and the day it is to ask Lord for forgiveness,
bathe me with your love and allow my own to live
    ~
Sorry for my poetical expression after your so nice lines. From time to time is simple run out of my heart and it looks like it happened again.
