Next to you I sit,
Hearing the fire crackling
In the heath
The wind howling in the night
You whisper “I love you”
Feeling the warmth from the fire
The Goosebumps forming on my flesh
When you touch me
In your arms safe from the darkness outside
I drift to sleep
And when I awake you are there lying next to me.
