Guardian angel.
Hero.
Her saving grace.
He was all of them.
Every ounce of life and touch of breath
Separation simply did not exist
until a replacement had been uncovered.
He finally found his pretty skinny blonde.
heartache filled every inch. earthquakes
at the sight of them.
Sticks and stones would be so much easier
than the words slicing at her heart.
Promises as broken as her insides.
She gave him everything
her trust her love her heart.
Her life.
And in return
he couldn't even give her back

I feel your pain! Sometimes life isn't fair, and yet we still have to move on. Nicely written, although definitely poignant. I like it!
