My insides long for the sea,
every sexual urge falls from my
finger tips, like an undiscovered
energy. I open my arms
ready for the water’s hands to
command my mortal wings.
But as the green and blue
begin to swallow me into
their watchful depths,
my toes feel the ground.
And my heart feels my lungs.
Back to my one body.
Eyes blinded by the mystery
of strong storms
begin to see driftwood. Proof,
gravestones, that lust is only
wave after wave.
Leaving you worn.
A young wooden heart
and wise beauty.
