Capture the sunset
before it slips away
for when it does,
it's gone until
the next day...
Night has always seemed so long
so lonely
and
so cold.
I have no one to hold
until the sun embraces me
once more...
Oh sunbeams, why
do you desert me
why do you flee each night?
You're the most inconstant lover
never constant in my sight.
Why do you slip away..?
I will capture you, somehow;
I'll bind you someday...
Author notes
I know you said only rhyme if you know how, but while I was writing this the rhymes sort of jumped at me. Hope you're okay with them.

The sheer temporary state of happiness.
This is really a beautiful piece.
It has serenity, longing, hope, immense flow and feeling.
This gave me such a nice feeling ,so to me it is Art.

Oh! WAW! Sentimental, longing... to hold the sunset or sun even it could burn you all? Nice... leaving me speechless.

Oh, so beautiful! Wouldn't it be nice to hold on to the sunset and never let it go?
That way we could look at it forever.
Beautifully done! Such nice emotions >.<
