I am like the world
spinning on paths
pulled and turned this and that way;
not always where I'd rather be.
Now the world lowers her chin
and Sun finds favored place anew,
not to ignore the rest of her face
but to kiss her forehead now,
missing her cheek.
Autumn makes me turn away
from the place I would be
but it flashes beauty and vibrant colors
cooling rushes of air;
and the rest we need before the cycle turns.
Though missing heat and play
but would not chase the sun,
treasure tilted rays shrinking days
and happiness of cool nights and a fire.

So nice expressed feelings, following the circle of life and nature's changes. I like your poetical expression:

Though missing heat and play
but would not chase the sun,

Nobody can chase the sun, only poetry can do that and you framed the light with your verses. Thank you.
