The carcasses
Of dead mosquitos,
Decorate
My screens.
I’m holding out
Inside for now,
Of this trailer
I am queen.
Camping sounded
Oh so fun;
Big fires
And marshmallows.
Now I’m bleeding
For the bugs;
I’m such
A juicy Fellow.
I am listening
With much intent
For incessant
Nighttime droning.
If I could swat
These nasty @#$%!!!!’s
I’d spend
Much less time moaning.
