Great job! "distant voices": feeling like an outsider, unable to ignore the presence of those nearby. "girls and boys flirt": a party without an invitation. "no one likes me": the crushing blow. The poem as a whole leaves an impression of being left out and getting a good face-smearing anyway. You describe rejection well. I get a real sense of envy, humiliation, and anger turned inward from your lines. I think any reader will immediately identify with your emotion. Thanks for entering this!
