Waiting for the Little Girl with Blue Eyes

There are moments I miss you
Wondering who we would have been
Where we would have gone
How long it would have taken us to get there

I wait for your answers still
Signs of you listening
I feel you in every breath
And all things

We would have made forever
But we still are
I promise
I'm waiting for the little girl with your eyes

There is a gift in all things "lost"
You brought him into my life
So I could change his
And when he gives me that little girl...

We will have come full circle

Hmm. I like the concept of 'all things happening for a reason'. It's the theory of Fate, really. And you know I'm a big fanatic of that.

    "We would have made forever
    But we still are"

I feel like you're trying to say, in those two lines, that if he had lived, you would've been together forever but are together forever either way. Right? If so, that's a beautiful way, in my opinion, to write it.

I wish my comment was more productive but I'm hyped up on Monster energy drink and can't really focus. I loved the poem though. Glad you broke your writer's block.
