Winter spins a white quilt
Of lonely words and snow.
Her bitter cold spreads everywhere,
Into every place we know.
Winter's cold despair,
She sings a haunting song
Of bitterness and hungry cold;
She sings all season long.
Sleet her shivering tears,
Frost her icy dress,
To the dead black trees
Her lips will surely press.
She kisses them with coldness,
Covers them with death.
In her white and frigid room
They will have to rest.
Please tell me what you think
