Oliver

It takes a great man,
Or maybe more than a man,
To treat those around him,
As if they were his own family.
You treated us the same,
As those closest to you.
And we are all grateful,
Though you may not have known.

So many years I knew you,
The happy man down the road;
A smile ready to welcome us,
On a cold Christmas morning.
Those days are now passed,
And you’ve found eternal peace;
Know that those left behind,
Will remember you fondly.

    i was so so so so close to my uncle, He worked with the Military doing computer programs, and projects not only did he work with them he designed a few major programs...and that's all I'll have to say about my uncle
    Anyway, I am really sorry that you lost your uncle..I am sure that he was a special man. I know he would have been honored from this poem.
