The Silent Season

Silent shivers
In a bed of snow.

Dew dripped
Icicles pulled jagged
By gravity.

The sun ray's
Projecting sweetly numb
Sensations.

A lovely winter
Displayed all around
On a canvas

      that slowly

            melts away...

I love how at the end of the poem you give the feeling of the winter melting away, it gives great effect.

    This piece has wonderful potential.
I would love to see you carry this motif completely through all the seasons; that could surely earn a gold.
    Best of luck.
    Love,

    Pretty as a picture.

Very good. I like "a canvas that slowly melts away". Thank you for entering my contest.
