Music gives me expression It gives me freedom
It changes my confidence and puts perspective in my life
When I'm sad it seems to be there to give me uplifting words
Sometimes when I'm happy music makes me smile even more
But I can not go without the music that makes me dance
I can walk into a low lighted room with colorful lights and change
I'm someone that loses all shyness and the dance floor is my goal
The drums making my feet squirm and my shoulders sway
The music is loud enough to electrify my inside
To jump up and dance my way to the floor
There I seem like the world is mine and I'm the attraction
Closing my eyes and seeing my music as I hear it
Pulsating through my ears and into my soul
Every part of me dances..even my lips as I sing along
My fingers reach out to create the lines of music
Back posed just right to carry my stand and show my passion
Structure is the last thing I think of because its natural
Movement is what the music controls as it takes hold
I become one with the most powerful explosive thing in the world
What a feeling it is to dance with music as your partner

This just brings a wonderful feeling of calm and happiness to me. If I like a song or an artist I am taken into the world of the song.
