It seemed like only yesterday
my heart soared upon the wings of the wind
and like a star love shot me
into the universe of endless bliss.
My heart burned with scarlet passion
my blood flowed like wildfire
and only you my darling love
could quench this passionate desire.
and suddenly you were gone.
Like a young flower
you faded right before my eyes
and crumpled into
an archive of old memories.
Like a mistake
i longed to know you all over again
longed to wash away the pains i caused
longed to feel that love again.
Like a cancer you ate at my heart
and my cells bowed down in reverence
as your love spread through my veins
as i became infected
with nothing else but your sweet nectar of love,
I had never found a love like this.
Since you were gone
my heart had become an ancient ruin
that held on to love
in spite of the winds that threatened
to shatter it to pieces.
And like a victor
my love for you stood immovable
my passion flowed unstoppable
i still think the unthinkable
As your immaculate love
downs deeper still my heart....
I am still in Love with You.
