~
After pumpkin pie
and traditional tricks
I went up stairs
for a short nap.
Inside the corridors
of my wild dreams
monsters not allowed
roamed freely.
They all were tamed
expertly, by me
and seemed not to mind
my un-remembrance of names.
For all were brothers
and would answer to a smile
nod or a wink.
No jealousy around.
The sparse decor
was in a neat mess,
with candies placed on
the lower shelves.
The time slip that came
with the dreamy travel
was so convenient
in time for their party.
After "Bobbing for Skulls"
and "Throw the Baby"
one dwarf announced
"It is time!"
Maids scurried around
"There is a nice dress
one Pink and Orange
we can slip you into."
Elegantly dressed
I was lead to
the gorgeous gold
ball room.
After many a swirls
and handsome bows
I took a break
on the sidelines.
As a prank
baby skeleton gave
me a goblet
with sleeping powder
At dinner I woke
rubbing my eyes just in case.
"Sweetie~ it's time
now shut eyes and say grace."

Author notes
Option 2: Picture image inspired option (A- mummies dancing)
Comments: well.. on halloween we dress up as either our worst fear, or to scare another. basically we act and dress as monsters and other halloween stuff. so this, on halloween.. monsters.. well basically act like humans. you get the picture. i can't really explain it.
thanks for hosting~

How creative to turn the mosters from being all scary to being nice and polite. Even having them enjoy a party and everyone gets along. Now that is a wonderful dreamland you have me wanting to visit
Thank you for entering and best of luck to you!
Blessings
