22 In the silence of the crescendo

In the silence of the crescendo,
listen to my beating heart.
Building hopes and dreams,
let's make a brand new start.

Listen to my beating heart,
it calls to you each night.
Silent tears rain down on me,
searching for a love that's right.

Building hopes and dreams,
caught and fluttered in my mind;
a vision of what I hold dear,
trapped like sands of time.

Let's make a brand new start,
someday I hope you know;
though the beating will go in,
in the silence of the crescendo.

Author notes

A little jumbled in thoughts, but scattered from within.
Sometimes, when something should be said, it just comes out all mixed up!

    Congratulations, Storm. You produced a beautiful flow of words and thoughts that I didn't find jumbled at all. I understand exactly where they come from and know the feeling when something just has to be said and it comes out that way.

      Thank you, appreciate the comment.
      It's nice to know that it wasn't as jumbled as originally thought, sure felt that way when I first spilled it to the virtual paper.

    What a beautiful take on the title. I know its a form, French I think, but don't know the name. It has a soft, melodious rhythm that truly draws the emotions of both sadness and hopefulness out of the words.
    Not too jumbled, although I would not be surprised if it felt that way when you wrote it.
    Thank you for your entry, it was a pleasure to read.
