In the pitfall beginnings I toiled and churned
I fouled up and forced
I stumbled and spurned
And presently placated, I changed and turned
At once I began to watch and learn
I watched and learned and learned and watched
The plans were unearthed and hatched and botched
Amidst pitfall and botched I came to see
I watched and I learned and I came to be
So I was and I was what I was
I’ll be what I’ll be

And I was till’ I wasn’t;
Till’ my plans were botched
Once again I was only the learn and the watch
Still I watch and I learn
I discern and I see
I unfold what I’m told
I scrutinize what I perceive
I bide my time, waiting
Salivate to see
The time when I can watch and be

I’ll never be botched
Their plans I will see
