This made me think of the book. Have you ever read it? It's great, but back to the poem. I beleive that there is no such thing as normal in a sterotype. If it was for societies abnormalities, life wouldnt be what it is now. And people in our socitiety wouldnt have hardship so we wouldnt have strength. i know that wasnt the case or what you wanted me to say. this made me think, i liked it. so keep it up.
