Days weaving in and out, summer went in an endless stream,
We'd seek each other's company and form gossamer dreams.
Porch swing cuddling led to talks of the world,
love fell upon us, leaving forever unfurled.
Troubled times, death and sweet tragedy,
Taught us to cry and remember why we breathe.
your hand in mine as we took in all the blows,
We'd swing down the paths we both chose.
worlds at our feet with the happiness it brings,
A time where all we had were front porch swings.
