Okay, already!

I did not mean it, evermore!
Our principal is very nice.
I only slammed her office door
and did it only once or twice.

Yes, my son is quite unruly
and gets in fights most every day.
I am so sorry, really truly!
I can't control him, anyway!

As for what happened in the gym,
when PTA was holding meeting...
The fire I set was not a whim.
I did it as an autumn greeting.

What's more cheery than a blaze?
Those books were old and drear.
I am going through a phase...
and you have banned me for all year!
