Standing straight and tall.
With body slender and strong.
With three shining gems on her head,
shining, twinkling like stars in the dark
She's a caring guide to anyone
Making the way safe and in order,
like a caring mother,
guiding her precious children,
away from danger and harm.
Yet with her beauty, no one adores her
Yet with her wonderful deeds, many defy her
Those sinful drivers and pedestrians
Why can't anyone respect and admire her.
Oh! traffic light
You're such a wonderful sight
Let your light shine upon me
Your one and only loyal fan.

lol. I wasn't expecting that one but enjoyed it greatly. Thank you.Small point 3rd stanza 1st line, make it 'no one adores her'- just an 's'

I like this poem, and don't apologize. I expect people to think about the poems they enter and if they don't feel comfortable to remove it and to enter another. It's perfectly fine!
