This grazed knee

Falling, always falling;
through clouds and brambles
and from cliff tops
into oblivion.
Taking my innocence and
my inner spirit
is your forte;
leaving me scared and cut up,
plunging;
with no clear route.
Crashing down with a thud.
This is one grazed knee
you cannot kiss better.

    I think at some time we have all been there. That one person who leaves us feeling nothing but despair and anguish. The lines are short yet very powerful leaving the reader with a true sense of your despair. A short poem that captures a lot of heartache without being over the top. Well done and many thanks for entering my contest.

    This is dark and so very sad. People are forever 'plunging' in life. Never being able to climb back to the top. There is depression in this piece and it is thought-provoking. Keep writing.

    All the best

    Kinda touched me right there, if you get my meaning?
    Nice job. Short and really to the bitter point.
