Dreamer,
dazzled by eclectic illusions
of the twilight hours.
Moonlight,
the illuminated playwright,
directing his willing puppet,
yet not menacingly so.
Dawn,
rises harshly upon the horizon,
a punishing glow on the faces
of those that forcibly cast dreams asunder.
World,
of glory bestowed only
to the open eyes of the dreamer.
Author notes
"A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world. "
Oscar Wilde
