Broken Promise Beams

Moonlight beams and fragment dreams
brings abandonment when the foundation
is exposed in a mirage of emotions
holding on tight to wishes and promises.

Confusion is bundled ~ beclouded
and broken in the mirage of the
light of the day, another jagged
edged heart bares all for the world to see.

Author notes

prompt is:

"A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world. "
Oscar Wilde
