One

'we should all become one voice and praise kevin for bringing us all

together'

It took one man
to move the world,
by bringing us all
together
as one voice
to praise fallen poets
and all the babes
yet to come.

One man,
a man called Kevin
said, "let us become one
for we should all be one."
And AllPoetry was born.

I guess I would have to agree [as I am still here as well]. I looked at this contest-seemed a bit confusing at first , but then I got it and I just had to come and read your entry I know Kevin will really appreciate this ode to him. We bitch to him [so it is only right that we praise him as well] WTG Patricia, and wtg Kevin. Best wishes in this contest sweetie and much love

    Another exceptional piece.

It did take one man to move the world
and it will take one man to bring it back cause it has slipped slightly, steer it back in the direction Kevin aimed for. A safe haven for all poets worldwide, to share, to learn, to become one community in peace.

your entry will help in this task, trust me. I know you do.

This is far and away the best poetry site I've ever visited. For that I'm grateful to Kevin and his staff of moderators and greeters who have made my stay here a most enjoyable and educational one. As for the politics and power trips I don't get involved. I write, I read, I comment and I learn... that's the bottom line.

    Sincerely,
    Leo Long

I completely agree, Leo. I've had nearly three wonderful years on AP. I don't think I'll bother to go anywhere else. It's become like a second home. hugs, Patricia

All praises to Kevin and the poets who speak harmoniously. I like the ceremonious tone here.

"Harmoniously" is the operative word here, I'm afraid. There has been a bit of contention by some who have made it miserable for others. One would think poetry should be the last things people would argue about. Where that comes from, I'll never know! Thank you, Margaret. Hugs, Patricia
