the Harvest Moon Dancers

As Autumn made herself known,

By the turning of the leaves.

The colors changed to bright vivid shades.

The nights grew colder and colder.

The evenings grew longer and the days shorter.

Changes were being made all over the world.

The animals also felt the changes coming.

Many had finished preparing for winter.

It was time for the moon light dance to begin.

All of the animals gathered be the evening moon.

Everyone in their fine furriest of furs.

The birds sang late into the evening.

In the beauty of the Harvest Moon.

The animals danced in the silvery light.

The evenings were enjoyed by all.

So when the fall cools the air, and changes your leaves,

Watch for the dances to the Harvest Moon.

I think this is the most brilliant time of the year

If you can catch all of the bright colors before the rain rips the from the trees, the secenry is just breath taking. we all need a kodak hour or more so we can saver it all. We never get to take it all in. The rains come and all that is left is bare trees and the beauty of all the vivid colors are on the ground. We are so busy sweping, slipping and sliding around we just miss it all. Thisis the bebining of the sweater and long scarf and mitten walks
When you can first see your breath in the air. the it gets really cold forget ot it is too cold, slushy, ugly and dirty, and wet*^^%^- Bless you for your sneaze! By the way I am glad you liked my poem...mac

I absolutely despise fall, it means that winter is coming. Fall means the trees are bare and it starts getting dark out early!! I mean it's beautiful...but...SUMMER IS OVER! ha ha ha ok...you can tell I'm a kid stil in school and I'm sorry...but this is a great poem and I love the moon!

Best of luck in my contest!
