Untitled Poem

I told you that I love you,
But you just went to class.
How can I make it plainer—
I’m speaking through clear glass.

My love for you has lasted
For years without an end,
But you just cannot see me
As more than your best friend.

My heart breaks now within me,
Though I don’t have a choice.
If you refuse to listen,
How can I use my voice?

I have no plan of action;
My sole idea was flawed.
And I cannot remain here:
I'll just feel like a fraud.

There must be something for me,
Somewhere I yet can look.
Is there still someone out there
To write in my heart’s book?

I ache with stemmed emotion
That fills me now once more.
I need someone to love me—
The one I'm waiting for.

Author notes

This one is actually true, unlike most of my poems. The poem is for the same person that these poems were written for.

    Transcend All

Wow the raw emotion, the pain of a love unfulfilled - all are life changing events. they say it makes us strong ... but no one tells our heart the truth and so we continue to love incognito. One of the many lesson in our life. I enjoyed you piece, it took me back to a place sorta similar .

    Ah... lass...

You're words are incredibly true. Like, the way I look at it is this,
    you told him
he didn't give you the love you needed.

find the man out there who can still write in your heart's book...

Even in the hardest of emotional times,
you're still as clever as always.

    I love you!

    Nice.
It speaks, unadorned, right from the heart.
