inside means nothing
unless it's green
and no one cares
just where you've been
or what you've done,
or thought,
or seen,
they only care about that
inner green.
dead presidents smile,
forgotten men,
they care not for you
nor ever again
will any care
for bankrupt men
so fall inside and
fail.
and remember this
before you die,
that love is gone
and never was.
it doesn't matter
if you try.
for love is gone
and never was.
the liars of this golden age
replete with the hate
that fills today,
decide each morning then anew
to destroy the loving likes
of you.
the world is vast
but never made
to provide you with
the tools of your trade.
to have a mind may be a boon,
but you are nothing without that
silver spoon.
a silver spoon so full of pain,
and dripping fast with rock cocaine
as they prey on you and prey again
killing all of you caring men.
just remember to never care
for if you do you end nowhere,
and life will break you, all good men,
then break you all and break again.
Please tell me what you think

It was a good poem, but it's not what I'm looking for in this contest. I'm looking for a poem that speaks personally, that comes from your soul. Thank you for your entry.
