he's rapping at my gate.
Wait!Don't let him in yet,
I was hoping he'd be late.
A few more moments please,
he's got time to spare.
I'm just not ready yet,
to face the devils glare.
Rap, rap, rap. 'I'm a busy guy,
I don't have time to spare.
For when I come a knocking,
you should be already there!'
How do I look now?
Is this dress alright?
Or should I wear the black one?
It's short and kind a tight.
'I don't care what you wear,
It won't be on for long,
just get yourself out here,
its time we were gone!'
Alright, already! Jeez!
You don't have to whine.
I'm not that late, trust me,
We'll get to dine on time!

I really enjoyed reading through this. I loved the darkness and the humour. You have done so well here to incorporate the two together. Great work and well done for winning the honorable winner trophy.

Dining with the devil eh? Who do you have drinks with? Just joking! This is very humourous and I loved every little chuckle erupting from my mouth as I read this peice! Very light hearted, very interesting concept as well. I really enjoyed how you took this topic and just went off with it. You seem like you have a unique style and quality to you work and that is such a good thing to have. Very well written! Keep up the great writening and thnk you for entering! Good luck!

This is interesting
dark and humorous.
"Alright, already! Jeez!
You don't have to whine."
A whining devil..LOL
I love the imagery
I could see him(devil)
in-patiently waiting
tapping his hoofed feet
outside the door
while the (woman)
decides what to wear..
That is priceless..
'A date with death'
I enjoyed sooo much!
