Everyone is given the chance to compete this first round, and there’ll be as many rounds as I need to get it down to one solid winner.
Prizes As Of Now:
1st will receive over 3000 points.
2nd place will receive 700 points
3rd place will receive 300 points
How Long It’s Going To Take:
This whole rounds contest will only take about 2 weeks. It will end sometime before Monday 8th of October 07 -- when my holidays finish & I start year 12. Make sure you’ve got the time before you enter the first round. Keep in mind they’re only quickies and so shouldn’t take too much time from your day.
What Sort Of Poetry:
All the pieces you write will be relatively short, and you’ll be required to write two or three pieces every 24 hours.
Each poem you write will be written to a certain prompt and there will be limitations. Every round will challenge you’re poetic skill and ability to think outside the circle.
Hints for tasty poetry: trim the fat (take out unnecessary words), add spice (use delightful vocabulary), cook well (do some serious thinking while writing) and lastly, garnish accordingly (use a suitable background and font).
Encourage Quickie Cult Spirit:
Please do not spam others, but if you know a few friends who would enjoy this challenge it’d be lovely if you could point them in the direction of this page.

The First Round:
The first round is open to everyone. It’s in the form of a contest, which you can find here in a link in the notes below. To be included in the Quickie Cult (ie compete in this rounds contest) you must enter a poem there, according to specifications on the page. I hope to reel in more than 25 contestants in the first round.
