Spine clings to steel
heart wrapped in transparent delusions,
walling away fears,
glass boundaries fragile security
mirrors the feebile quintessence
felt in the pulse.
Sitting upon a towering
pedestal
microscope philosophy
shelters reality.
Weather still threatens
from clouds
shadowing the soul,
temperature control
a handbook of rules,
written by cold, numb
fingers.
