Through swells of oppression
and troughs of loneliness
Past dangers of the deep
and periods of distress
Ferried without navigation
pummeled by the elements
Disoriented constantly
nothing quite making sense
Even within the stillness
little clarity returns
Mind rules the emotions
thoughts twist and churn
Wisps of veiled memories
surface suddenly
Reminding of the purpose
of what was supposed to be
With renewed determination
making positive progress
Floating on wings of hope
justice was within access

Wonderfully deep piece with so many layers to weave through, loved it

I think we are very quick to give up and look to the negative, I think it's the way human nature works on us, which is a shame really. You are right, we do need a little more hope. I love the flow of this piece, it rolls off the tongue nicely.

excellent
I read this twice. I like the word choice as each time I read it I could apply it to different aspects of life and justification to hope for better things. Well done.

I just knew you and probably Mook would see the layers in this. Thanks so much dear friend.
