Well it is night again it is my quiet time.
It is the time I use to be still and listen to my heart.
Sometimes is the time I use to show my husband,
How much I love him.
This the time that I can talk to God.
This is a special time for me.
It is the time, I wait for answers from God.
I wish that all people would,
Make a quiet time for themselves
Oh what a better world this would be.
For they would be able to listen,
To their hearts and souls.
If only people would take time to listen,
And be still to see the truth in the world.
And use their hearts to see how they could,
Help the world and the people in it.
So if you are reading this why don't you ,
See if you can come up with a special time for you.
And may the blessings of God be with you.

I agree that we all need that quiet and secluded time to ourselves to commune in all ways with all things. So often it has (for me, at least) been interrrupted that my life and thoughts seem ill-at-ease with this 'hurry-up' world we live in. Thus, peace seems like an unattainable dream till someone like you writes of it...reminding us to: 'Stop and smell the Roses' once in wahile while we struggle through this nightmare of a world. Peace and God's Blessings to you as well, my friend. Plus a heartfelt 'Thanks'

Late in the night when the world is still for a while and silence holds her own, I have my moments of my time a time that is very spiritual experience. I know what you mean in this poem. Another gem of wonderful wisdom shared here. Keep writing Rose and sharing your enlightenment with us.

I always make time for lots of quiet time,meditation is wonderful for that.Yes if only everyone in the world would take some time out for their quiet time,it would make all the difference.

I love your poem. I always make time for myself each day. If it is taking a long bath, or when I lie in bed and the end of the day and pray to God. You are so right I often wonder if everyone would pray more would there be anymore wars?! Would there be all these diseases and would people go hungry? Oh well that is just me! -
