The Red German Shepherds And The Horses They Eat (An Index Of Rabid Animals)

This, my friend, is major news
We'll beat this animal to the ground
With sticks and stones and bad-tempered words
These tracks lead us into the north
And keep us away from the cigar smoke
Keep the screaming on high and turn the lights off
We'll dance until our blood turns to rust
-
Crooked grey veins in a dog's open mouth
We need to destroy the treelines again and again
So nothing alive ever moves forward
And an american dream can move on from the sounds
Of all the swinging ropes and picket fences
The headless pianist who kept his heart on a string
And called himself a martyr of athritis and fingers
Only a man of that nature can call himself a dreamer
-
We'll gasp for the surface of a tar pit called air
All of the warped glass windows speaking time
Thousands of men in lines of white
We fear the sunlight in the presence of god
Because no one knows what a wolf looks like in the day
Only the broken and mending fangs that sit still
This world is falling apart through storms
In the swarm of water and wind and me
These infractions no longer rest on anyone else

    Amazing

WOW! I LOVE this line! And an american dream can move on from the sounds
Of all the swinging ropes and picket fences
The headless pianist who kept his heart on a string
And called himself a martyr of athritis and fingers
Only a man of that nature can call himself a dreamer

would you mind if I drew something inspired by it? I'd include part of your lovely poem on it and of course credit your name...could I please?
