There's a wood nymph in my closet
She made her home with twigs and leaves
I came to find her slumbering on a cold day
I needed a sweater
The clicking and creaking of the door awoke her
She jumped out at me screaming something
Rather foreign.
It was hard to understand, but she said
She got lost from the other nymphs
Soon we became friends
She'd help me with my chores
Often trying to carry heavy things, bless her.
We share ice cream, she loves ice cream
Makes her go ever so hyper.
Looks like she's drunk, it amuses me.
I don't want her to leave
I hope she isn't a figment of my imagination
Author notes
I am in humourous mood so here you go.
Enjoy!

Well if one flew out of the wardrobe, I'd die of fright....still, likes to help? eats Ice-cream...Mmmm how is she with typing, filing and cleaning
Well done, nice humor

simply said, i simply loved it
. a mix of innocence, open eyed dream, wish come true, tongue in cheek, told with a smile hiding a certain undeniable snicker to it

A wood nymph living with you!!!
I LOVE the idea of this!
Listen, you are really on to something here.
We have real pets and have to feed them and clean up after them and all that jazz... and an imaginary enchanted creature is WAY BETTER because we can do more stuff and it's cleaner. A darling poem and I love it!
