Caught In A Beautiful Web

Missing image

In secret world of silky webs
                                  lies iron strength,

spanning hearts and minds
like forest trunks of all kinds

connected by less than a whisper

we pass on messages
                                and reason to weave

faith that it makes a difference.

Author notes

Nicolette is oen of the most inspired, sharp, writers on AP. I agree, but she is more...she is that spider weaving to hold us in knowledge that the world is a beautiful place.

You couldn't write bad poetry if you had to! I swear, if someone held a gun to your head and told you you'd die if you didn't, you'd probably write your own eulogy and it would stand among the greatest ever penned. Heh. This is such a simple string of words but, threaded by your hand they fall together so very well.

Webs are an intricate and beautiful connection of magnificant proportions yet so simple. Your poem is amazing, as is all your poetry!!! As a child I was completely entralled with spider webs and still am to this day. My son shares the same fascination. Best of luck in the contest my dear. God bless you.

    Hugs and love,
    Petratani xo

"faith that it makes a difference"

Carol...and with this you've weaved a web of arms around me across time and sand. Yes... you've made a difference, my friend...So beautiful this is. And yes, it really is a beautiful world where the generosity of hearts is expressed and felt like this.

Thank you for your eyes that see and understand, my sister of the soul...

You are both weavers of the highest caliber, my beloved Sisters of Soul. This seems to be a piece of "simplicity", but ahhh, the meanings & layers that I can see within. Beautifully done, Sweetie. Nic will love it. Good luck in the contest, my Friend. Wanda
