As the seasons change remember how I used to be
There in a memory, so precious in your mind
You can hold me there and forget such a thing as time
how cruel the world, to tear us apart
for such a long time
We're so far away now, in thought and in life
We can never repair the damage done
Just remember how I used to be
and I will savor as well, the taste of your memory
and the person you were, when I loved you then
Friends for time, and the darkness within
I'm not who I was anymore and I don't want you to see
The mess I've become, this hallow little thing
Life has beaten the life out of me
I'm not so strong as you pretend to be
So while you're light shines so brightly,
in a world separate from my own
Remember me
Don't leave me in the back of your mind
I don't wanna die, I don't want to die.....alone.
