Lonely

Fall is ceaseing,
Winter is begining.

I miss you so,
This time last year my face was all a glow.

Now I set here in my cottage,
Does'nt seem all that cozy anymore.

At night the forest scares me,
I don't even walk outside.

I sit and watch the moon glow off the river,
As my horse sleeps in his stable.

It’s amazing how you captured the essence of being lonely in such a short but powerful poem. Truly beautiful, thank you for entering and good luck!

This is a good poem, short and to the message in a flash.
I felt a little sadness while reading this piece.....  It was probably just me!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep up the good work!

    Tenderness

A fine quality sometimes neglected by poets. As I sit next to you a gaze at the winter moon
