the distance we’ve carefully erased
to stick between each other like a sore thumb
i never thought i’d think about you.
years of memories
continuous like a party shuffle
gliding into the next dream
the next moment of life i’ve shared with you.
create a wall
separating us from the real world
we can stay here tonight and
not remember.
artificial pleasures
liquor and drugs
love and forgiveness
fake scenes just to make me say i love you.
make you stay a little longer.
full of colour
vivid like orange
dangerously seductive
it was half bait.
moving frequent stops
stuck in the place where i don’t want to be
without you
i never thought i could understand.
tremble with cautiousness
this is precious
held in the hands, the brains of two
confused lovers.
constant questioning
i don’t think that now but you will in time.
growing old means wilting into sagging skin
loyalty is an excuse to cheat.
i am safe.
you are wild.
balancing what’s imbalanced
only to become strangers.
scenes so familiar
sucked from my memory
only to be used to mock me
humiliation comforts us.
back where it’s real
we’re not there.
day dream believers crying in the morning
realizing it was just a dream.

I am pretty much in shock at the moment...because..as I am reading this..I am like...wow this really suits my mood....seeing as how I was listening to a song made for eternal sunshine of the spotless mind...that movie has been pumping through me lately...meaning this song has become my blood and all the movie scenes have become my thoughts...wow..
every word in this is incredible...I love this..quite frankly I think I want to read this to everyone I know...mostly amber..if you dont mind..haha
