Every night is an eternity,
Being away from your side,
Marked by your memory,
Why did I have to lie?
I've fallen from grace,
Stripped away of my pride,
All I want is too see your face,
Before I am forced to die.
I should have been honest,
Nothing should have gotten between us,
It took away of which I was fondest
Destroying our loving trust.
I'm nothing now but an empty shell,
The absence of your love has left me hollow,
I would gladly walk through the gates of Hell,
If it meant you would come back tomorrow.
I can't stand this lonely feeling,
Why does it come down to being alone,
Left to stare at the ceiling,
Wishing you would come home.
I've trudge on burdened by this pain,
All I want is to be forgiven,
To be ridden of this shame,
Before these walls cave in,
Wiping the plague from my name.
I'm nothing now but an empty shell,
The absence of your love has left me hollow,
I would gladly walk through the gates of Hell,
If it meant you would come back tomorrow.
I'm down on my knees,
Give me another chance,
Forgive me please,
Forgive me...
