Leave their footprints on my soul
Like tears once shed for things
Thought to be just out of reach
But you, the gentle one, dry them
With passions’ flames untamed
Though I yearn to be closer
Time and space will not abide
Nothing can fill the void in my heart
Nothing but reflections of you.

What a beautiful ending, it has pasted images in my head that are simply more beautiful than any picture.

Liked the picture and the poem and the silver trophy as well. Go together very well. Reflections, memories are there always and sometimes the come back at the most inopportune times.

Time and Space... those two have buggered up more than one relationship for me. The longing is palpable and I loved the picture that inspired the words.
I especially enjoyed the lines:
