Autumn

I walk down lonely streets
The colored leaves rustle
Beneath my sneakers
My thin jacket
Protects my arms
From the cold breeze
The hairs on my neck stick up
And my body feels chills
Leaves are raining
Like an Autumn rainbow
Falling from the sky
The sky is a calming gray
And it smells like dead leaves
The smell of baked goods
Can be smelled from houses I pass
It makes me feel warm
I can't wait to get home
The park is buried under piles of leaves
And happy children jump into them
Everyone seems to be happy on an Autumn day
I get home
I feel a sudden rush of warmth
And I smile
'Cuz there is nothing better than Autumn

Please tell me what you think

Nice change from all the angry poems... . Just kidding.

Good job! I really liked all the description, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Just one thing, do you mean:

    Like an Autumn rainbow

Instead of Like and Autumn rainbow? That's it though. Good write!
