There are no losers in the game of love
He who gives love is a gift from above
A loving heart and a singing soul
Knows well that loving is a giving that makes you whole
While pain comes and stays at times
And is often best expressed in shared rhymes
Pain will leave, no matter how slowly
But love, once given, is almost holy.
Love mends hearts, minds and fences
Love covers present, past and future tenses
Love teaches the lover to give again
The lover is never a loser and will live again.
So if you meet a broken man on karaoke night
Send him your love, let your heart hold him tight
If he gambled and lost, he will win next time
Love will find him singing some beautiful rhyme.

This is really beautiful in a quirky kind of way. Romantic whilest still down to earth enough for me to accept it (if you get what I mean).
There are some original lines, although I don't like the rhyming of "again" and "again".
