You were my heart
My love.
You seemed a gift
From the gracious above
But now when I see your face
My heart goes to a different place
Where sorrows breed pain
And heartbreak screams its name.
The ease of your smile
Rips across my world.
Like an unsharpened sword
It spreads pain and discord.
Memories tear away at my soul.
Leaving me not, but hanging by a thread.
Set my heart at ease,
As i cry my final tear.
Now,
As heartbreak comes ever near.
If you please, give me peace.
